About the Report

Epidemics, pandemics, bioterrorism throughout history suggest that such events can cause global catastrophe and pose a credible threat to humankind. Despite extensive existing efforts biothreat remains a large challenge and the existing portfolio of work often overlooks the risks, and often does not focus on the mechanisms leading to such disasters. 

The risk landscape, the impact, and how nations should react and deal with biological threat is under evaluated, and it is certainly one of the most important challenges facing humankind – the work to reduce this threat is highly valuable.

BioThreat Report make a useful information resource coming from a range of sources across government, industry and academia, and designed to support the nations in their preparedness, protection and prevention from the existing and emerging threats.
